The nature of today’s 24 X 7 business environments requires a continuous and reliable power supply. An Emergency Backup Generator can provide a secondary power source when the primary power is interrupted. Backup Generators are fully automatic systems, which monitor the incoming electricity and provide an extended secondary power source on loss of primary power.

MBI Group can supply and install a generator for your specific needs considering all of your requirements. Your backup generator system can be customized with larger fuel tanks for longer run times, options on automatic transfer switches for easy maintenance, sound attenuation enclosures to reduce noise, and even custom colors to match the landscaping.

Diesel Generators

Diesel Generators

QuietSource packs a lot of power into a small footprint, and runs with clean burning, continuous LP or natural gas fuel. A powerful low-speed, liquid cooled engine runs at only 1800 rpm for a substantially quieter generator, consuming less fuel and giving both the engine and alternator a long life. The dual line, tri-lingual LCD display allows for easy monitoring and management of generator functions. Generators fun a weekly test to ensure the system is running properly. The standard aluminum all-weather enclosure provides protection from the elements.

Generac Gaseous Generators

Generac Gaseous Generators

The conditions that lead to widespread power outages—severe storms, equipment failures, etc.—do not typically affect the natural gas infrastructure. This means you can enjoy long running times in your application from Generac gaseous-fueled standby generators without needing to refuel.

Generac Spark-ignited Engines Engineered Specifically for Standby Power

Applying gaseous fuel to standby power systems takes advanced engineering expertise to ensure reliability and long life. That’s why Generac builds its spark-ignited engines from the block up.

Protection from the Elements

Generac manufactures its own generator enclosures to ensure each unit combines the highest level of durability with the latest engineering advancements in noise reduction, weather resistance and streamlined design.

Rugged Base Frames

Generac’s heavy-duty base frames ensure accurate alignment between the engine and alternator at all times. Oil and water drain points are situated for easy access. Vibration isolators contribute to smooth operation. And power cable stub-ups are positioned for easy installation.

PowerManager® Integrated Controls

PowerManager digital controls* let you monitor and control key elements of your generator system with the touch of a button or click of a mouse. Features like constant monitoring capabilities, adjustable parameters, and built-in protective alarms help provide the highest level of reliability.

Optimized Performance

Generac industrial alternators are machine wound, machine inserted, and machine varnished for the ultimate in consistency. Form winding and stack bracing ensures reliable performance. Rotor spin balancing eliminates vibration. And vented rotors contribute to cooler operation, longer life and enhanced efficiency.

Description: Get Longer Running Times with Less On-site Diesel Fuel

Generac Bi-Fuel Generators

Generac Bi-Fuel™ generators use diesel as a pilot fuel to ignite the natural gas, eventually running primarily on natural gas, but they are also able to run on diesel fuel alone as conventional diesel generators typically operate. The natural gas provides extended running times not available on diesel-only generators. It also allows for reduced on-site diesel fuel storage, which means a smaller footprint and reduced diesel fuel maintenance.

Risk Mitigation via Fuel Redundancy
Generac Bi-Fuel generators mitigate refueling issues by operating primarily on utility-supplied natural gas. That means less on-site diesel fuel is required and running times will be greatly extended compared to diesel-only solutions.

Lower Total Cost of Ownership
Because natural gas costs less than diesel, fuel costs are significantly reduced over the long term. And since less on-site diesel fuel is required for long running times, installation, operational and maintenance costs are reduced.

Reduced Exhaust Emissions
Bi-fuel generators are cleaner and more environmentally friendly than diesel-only generators. They emit about 30% less nitrogen oxides and 50% less particulate matter than comparable diesel-only units.

Scalability as Part of a Modular Power System
Generac Bi-Fuel generators can be configured as part of a Modular Power System (MPS)—connected via integrated paralleling with other Generac generators. This makes the system scalable, meaning there is no need to install more power than you need.

Code Compliance
Generac Bi-Fuel generators meet the on-site fuel requirements for emergency systems as referenced in NEC700 and NFPA 110. Less on-site diesel fuel means easier permitting. And indoor fuel installations with capacity limits per NFPA or local codes become a viable option.
